"Go for it"!

In just a few weeks we will be gathering once again for the 2nd Annual Kingdom F.E.S.T.!
It almost didn't happen this year. Two years ago (Aug. 2007') I heard from the Lord that we should come together with other Christians (Psalm 133) and proclaim Psalm 24 over the Southern Tier.
Ideally, I felt that a public park in Binghamton would be a good place for this.
There were so many obstacles---that after several months, I gave up on the idea. Then, I heard the Lord say: "How about Johnson City---after all, that's where your ministry has been based".
So, when I approached the Village Of Johnson City---they welcomed us with open arms!
The past few months however, I dragged my feet about the F.E.S.T.. People saw the notice on this site, but, I felt that there were so many similar Christian events---that the area didn't need another competing for people's time. The Lord had other ideas. A friend whom we hadn't seen in 34 years came back into our lives in recent months. She is a member of the band GODSPEED and also Abide In The Vine Fellowship in Owego. We began to e-mail and she asked about the F.E.S.T. as well. I said that if a church wanted to host it---I would come alongside and do what I do to help out. Well, the rest is history!
Laurie Seymour and her husband Jack, asked Pastor Fred Hoover about hosting the event. His reply was:
"Go for it"!
I am in awe of what these folks have accomplished in such a short time.
That being said---now, I have no doubts that JESUS is pleased with their efforts and zeal!
I am humbled at the response to this year's event.
I guess you might say that my faith has been renewed.
